It was beginning to snow and I was lying in my snug bed trying to imagine if there was anything out at karl Schurz Park that I’d like to go through the trouble of photographing. The image of the gates, with the Roosevelt lighthouse on the right popped into my mind. If you really strain your eyes, you can just make out the outline of the Triborough Bridge in the background as well.
So I bundled up. When I got out and set up the tripod – I decided to wait for some blurry sort of figure to walk by. A few did. But this one was perfect. I quickly packed my gear, came home and crawled back into bed.
