Looking south from Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center). Empire State Building. 2008 Photographed with infrared film. I actually like the view from Top of the Rock even more than that from the Empire State Building.

Because of the way it’s designed, it’s also easier to shoot from the Top of the Rock. There are parts two levels from the top where you can shoot without having glass or wire get in the way. Tripods are not allowed, but I bought a very small tripod that I was able to set down on the ledge to do this long exposure.
