Photo Location: 59th street and Fifth Avenue Fountains and lights. This is the Park Plaza before the renovation. Black and white with a hint of painting about it.

Midtown Manhattan photos: Home of the New York Public Library, Grand Central Terminal, the Chrysler Building and of course the number one tourist attraction in New York – still – the Empire State Building. Parks galore from Bryant Park to Madison Park. You can spend a lifetime photographing this section of Manhattan. Oh, and of course there’s Times Square on New Year’s Eve.
I especially enjoy the detail in this image such as the Chrysler Building pointing in the ceiling at the entrance.
The General Electric building through the New York steam. This was shot around 1992 with 35mm black and white film. Of course I walked by this building just about everyday for 10 years; and this was the best shot from that era.
It’s not easy to get a halfway original shot of the Chrysler Building. What I like about infrared film – you just never know ahead of time how a building will appear and this white version was a surprise.
Photographed with Kodak Infrared film, this is reflection of Chrysler Building in store window on 42nd street.
