I became fascinated with the Flatiron Building as I passed by it just about every day for the ten years that I went to work on 21st street and Ave. of the Americas. The toughest thing, photographically, is to get it at the right angle so that you get it’s unusual form, but also can enjoy all the decorations (florets etc.) that building has.

I was once able to go visit a friend who worked on the top floor towards the front.  It was like working in a wedge of cheese! Great views tho. Oh, and fun fact, it was originally called the Fuller Building – and was the tallest “skyscraper” in NYC.
