Blizzards and Snow in New York City
New York still has 4 seasons. And when I was younger, winter was my favorite. At least for shooting the city. I always thought (and most New Yorkers would agree) that the city is very beautiful during and just after a big snowfall.
The grime is covered up. And especially at night, the snow covered city sleeps under this snowy quilt. In the morning the snow begins to turn to a dull grey and the magic ends.

Dogs in Central Park during our only real snowstorm during 2008. Yes it’s true. I’ve cut out the actual dogwalker. They are always boring and take away from the feeling of the pack.
