MTA HQ
I had a chance to take a tour of MTA Headquarters a few weeks ago. I had expected to find a room filled with monitors and high-end computers; but I guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised to find out that this solitary man has been running the entire system with an HP laptop for the last five years. Although the fare has gone up several times recently - they claim that they still don’t have enough money to upgrade their IT department.
