Hi again Dave,

Is this a problem? When i log on to your site: http://beckermanphoto.com/ I get the coffee background, recent comments, listing of posting, etc., But I initially don’t get an image! When I click to post a comment, like this one the screen refreshes and I do get the image. I’m using a Mac OS 10.4.11 and the Firefox browser 2.0.0.12. I don’t think I’ve ever had that problem with you before.

No - that’s the way it’s supposed to work. You only get the image when you go to the individual post, not on the home page.

Very observant. I didn’t see her reading the book while we were talking.

Craig - she was two chairs to your right. The guy right next to you also interesting - he seemed to be studying for a mathematics test of some sort. Coffee shops and restaurants - great places to shoot - esp. if I you are with someone else and carrying on a conversation about digital stuff that is sure to bore the rest of the patrons.

Dave -
update on sbux lor:
when the company started they had two sizes: short (8oz) and tall (12oz). When America’s penchant for BIG progressed a bit more, the company decided to add grande (which does mean “big”). From here though, they added Venti, since they wanted to include a 20oz option too. Since by this time they had product recognition, it would have been foolish to change it. At best, this is certainly not pretension (never mind Barista’s who are snobby, just don’t tip them well), and at worst its a mild inconvenience. Barista’s who say “oh, you mean grande” aren’t doing their job.
Anyway - love the work that you have been putting out.
Cheers
