On the Straight & Narrow

Somewhere in the Times Square-ish part of the system.
Oh - and please - don’t complain about the new look of the blog because I’m re-working it. Give me a week and then feel free to tell me to go back to the way it was. There’s something in this way of organizing the posts that I like, but I’ll be damned if I know what that is.
There’s something pleasingly perverse about having a photo blog with no photos on the start page; though I need to make it easier to flip from one post to the next.

Matt — the weirdest thing. Over the last few days, I’ve gotten three very good shots that involve coffee. So that might have something to do with the theme change.

I just put up a slightly warm toned print, I come here and see the warm toned blog. I can hardly wait to see some Black and white images on it to see the color contrast.
Dave, you just can’t seem to rest, but that makes this sight such a joy to visit.

“You just can’t seem to rest…”
Tell that to my family. My dad and sisters think I lay around the house all day watching t.v. (because I don’t have a boss).
Actually - this stuff is just so much fun - it is hard to call it work. How can it be “work” if I wake up and can’t wait to get at it (whatever “it” is.)

A psychologist doing a study in comparative intelligence is taking tourists of various countries, ethnic groups, genders, and ages and putting them deep into the Time Square subway labyrinth to see which group can find its way quickest to the street. The record is held by a 19 year old female Laplander (not lap dancer) who found her way from the No. 7 train platform to Toys ‘R Us in 13 minutes and 7 seconds.

Another really complex and confusing subway station is on 14 Street. There is a supposedly a free transfer through a very long passageway, but no one has actually made it through to the end. Rumors have it that Jimmy Hoffa may still be lost in there.
