Lightroom Gallery

I’ve been fooling around with Lightroom as a way to create galleries. I’m working my way towards figuring out if there’s a way to modify it to use Paypal.
But this is an example of how a photograph happens, almost in real time. I was walking by Starbucks. Noticed this man behind the glass who was touching his hand to his head and smiling at me. I began to take pictures. Just what you see here.
Then I walked into Starbucks - and he tried to explain to me in broken English that I should be wearing a hat. At least that’s what I thought he was explaining. So here, in order are the photos - unretouched - other than going through my 40D Lightroom preset. And ooh boy, you get to see the exif data.

I ran across an amazing link the other day about utilizing Adobe Lightroom’s web galleries with Paypal. The author of the post, Chris Shepherd, writes about integrating a shopping cart into the Lightroom gallery itself. I recommend that if you seem to be somewhat web savvy, as it does require a bit of technical know-how. On the other hand, the link does include step-by-step instructions as well as download files. Thanks. I also ran across this a while back but didn’t have a chance to look at it thoroughly yet. What I will need is a way to pass variables to the generator so that each size, price etc. is stored in the database and generated by use of a field or a token…
That’s the way I was able to make iViewMedia Pro do this. I pass custom fields to the generator, there are tokens (symbols) that in the template that get expanded into the values from the properties of the image… I need to see if Lightroom has that ability.

Very nice work.
I don’t know if it is important to you, but I would take out the camera serial # from the exif data.

Thank you all. I’ve downloaded the zip files; will try and work on it tomorrow. I can see pretty much how it’s supposed to go and it should work which means that I’ll end up using Lightroom for all aspects of my workflow, from raw conversion, to developing, through to gallery sales. The only thing it’s missing (for me) is localized adjustments, i.e. masking and applying fixes to just a particular area. As far as I know, that can only be done in PS right now.
