Thoughts of You (Calendar)
I finished the second calendar, and that’s enough for me for now.
It’s called, Thoughts of You, and is a romantic compilation from Paris and New York with a few twists and turns.
Here’s a link to the Thoughts of You calendar.
The calendars are very satisfying - sort of the equivalent of visual poems.
On the book making scene, I have made contact with a company that does short run fine art books, and it looks like that is going to work out fine. But I won’t talk about it in the blog until I see how it all works out. It looks very promising though. If you buy 50 books at once you are paying about 1/3rd of SharedInk.
Anyway, I’ve included the cover page for the Thoughts of You Calendar.
P.S. the shot above was not set up - at least not by me. I ran across this still life in a store window on 23rd street about a decade ago.

Dave,
The calender looks superb.

P.S. I’ll be interested on the pros and cons of creating short run books with a face-to-face printer when you have time to address this here.

Dave,
The calender overall is wonderful. Although, I thought that some of the pictures looked a bit ametur and had nothing to do with
romance. Am I crazy? Please reply.
